Let's get you educated about DMMD, see, you don't have to know what the entire thing is about! I'm explaining it here!
Dramatical Murder is set in the near future of Japan on the fictional island of Midorijima . At some point in the game's recent history, the island was privatized by the powerful Tōe Company ( Tōe Zaibatsu?) and turned into a resort called Platinum Jail (Purachina Jeiru?), with the island's original residents forced to live in the Former Residents' District (旧住民区 Kyū-Jūmin-ku?). Protagonist Aoba Seragaki lives on the island and works at a store named Junk Shop Heibon ( lit. "mediocre"), hoping to live a simple life. However, he is drawn into the popular cyber game Rhyme (Raimu?) with its virtual world and its All Mates (Ōru Meito?), mobile devices that appear as if they are the owner's pets, as well as the hand-to-hand combat Ribstiez (Ribusutīzu?) game, ending all semblance of a peaceful life for Aoba.
This ^^^^ Is the plot of the game!
Characters
Main
Aoba Seragaki is the primary protagonist of the game. He works part-time at a junk shop called "Heibon", and lives with his grandmother, Tae. Aoba has a special ability called SCRAP, which allows him to control people's minds with his voice, though he can also destroy them (leaving the victims in a comatose-like state).
Ren is Aoba's All Mate and resembles a black Japanese Spitz. He is shown to have dark blue hair when in he's in his human form.
Koujaku is Aoba's childhood friend, and the leader of a Rib group named Benishigure. He has many tattoos on his body and works as a hairdresser. His All Mate is Beni.
Noiz is an information broker for Rhyme and is the founder of his group, Ruff Rabbit. His body is covered with many piercings.
Mink is the leader of "Scratch", a group of former prison inmates. His "All Mate" is a cockatoo who is named "Tori" that also means bird.
Clear is a strange masked man who one day fell from the sky. He refers to Aoba as his "Master". He is almost always seen holding his clear umbrella and owns two masks to hide his face.
